Terms of Use

1. Parties and scope

These terms apply to the istanbulcardshow.com website and the Istanbul Card Show mobile app (the “App”). The services are provided by Croone Organizasyon ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi (the “Organizer”), whose details are below.

2. Your account

An App account can only be created with an email address that has been used on an Istanbul Card Show ticket, either as the buyer or as an attendee. You confirm that the address belongs to you with the verification code sent to it.

Your account is personal. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for everything done through your account, so do not share your password with anyone.

Your account is linked to your ticket records. Draw entitlements based on tickets belong to the ticket; Sponsor Challenge points, and draw entitlements based on them, belong to the account and end when the account is deleted.

If we detect misleading, fraudulent or otherwise non-compliant use, the Organizer may suspend or close the account concerned.

3. Moments (your content)

Moments is the section of the App where you can share photos and captions during the event. The content you share remains yours.

By sharing content, you give the Organizer a free, non-exclusive permission to display it in the App and on screens at the event venue.

Your content is shared on the Organizer’s social media accounts only if you give a separate, optional permission. This permission is not required to use Moments and you can withdraw it at any time.

Shared content goes through moderation. The Organizer reserves the right not to publish, or to remove, any content without giving a reason.

You must not share content that is unlawful, obscene, hateful, infringes someone else’s rights or is otherwise inappropriate for the event.

If other people appear in your photo, you are responsible for making sure they are fine with it being shared and for obtaining any consent that is needed.

4. Sponsor Challenge

Sponsor Challenge lets you earn points by scanning QR codes at sponsor booths with the App.

Points belong to your account. The same person can earn points only once for the same sponsor and campaign.

If we detect automation, fake scans, sharing of QR codes remotely or any other form of cheating, the points concerned and the right to enter draws may be cancelled.

5. Prize draws: official rules

The following rules apply to every prize draw run through the App or at the event venue.

1. The draws are organized by Croone Organizasyon ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi. A prize may be provided by a sponsor company; in that case the sponsor is named in the relevant draw in the App.
2. The prize, the planned time, the entry condition and the way the prize is delivered are announced in the App for each draw.
3. The entry condition of a draw is one of the following: (a) at least one paid, active ticket for the relevant event that has been scanned at the entrance (checked in); (b) points earned in Sponsor Challenge; (c) being on a separate list of participants announced by the Organizer.
4. In draws based on tickets, each person has a single entry per draw. A person is identified by the same email address together with the same full name on the ticket; having more than one ticket does not give more than one entry in a draw. In Sponsor Challenge draws, the entry belongs to the account. In draws that use a separate list of participants, a person is the name and email address on that list.
5. Free tickets (complimentary invitations, tickets for ages 0–6 and tickets with a 100% discount) do not give an entry.
6. The winner is picked at random on the server. The list of eligible participants is fixed at the moment of the draw and is not changed afterwards. Each draw is held only once.
7. The Organizer may hold a draw earlier than the announced time. Entitlement is determined by the records at the moment the draw is actually held, so we recommend that you check in before the announced time.
8. The same person can win more than one draw; a previous winner is not excluded from other draws.
9. During the draw, the winner’s first name and the initial of the surname (e.g. Mert Y.) are shown on the screen at the event venue and in the App; participant names on the draw wheel may appear in the same short form. The full name is kept only in the Organizer’s records. The name used is the name on the ticket in ticket-based draws, the name on the account in Sponsor Challenge draws and the name on the list in draws that use a separate list. The winner is announced on the screen at the event venue; if the email address of the ticket, the account or the list has an account in the App, the winner also receives an App notification.
10. If the prize is not collected in the announced way and within the announced time, the right to the prize lapses.
11. Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash and cannot be transferred to anyone else.
12. If the winner is under 18, the prize is delivered to the winner’s parent or legal guardian.
13. Employees of the Organizer cannot take part in the draws.
14. The Organizer reserves the right to postpone or cancel a draw in case of force majeure or other compelling reasons.
15. Apple Inc. and Google LLC are not sponsors of, and are not in any way involved with, these draws.

6. Changes to the service and liability

The App and the website are provided “as is”. Interruptions may occur because of maintenance, technical faults or outages of third-party services (such as ticketing or notifications); the Organizer does not promise uninterrupted or error-free service.

The Organizer may change, improve or remove features of the App.

Without prejudice to cases where liability cannot be limited by law, the Organizer is not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of the App.

7. Intellectual property

The Istanbul Card Show name, logo, design and all content in the App that belongs to the Organizer are owned by the Organizer or its licensors. They may not be copied, reproduced or used commercially without written permission.

8. Closing your account

You can delete your account at any time. How to do this in the App, or by email if you cannot access the App, is explained on the Account Deletion page.

The Organizer may close an account if these terms are violated.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

The laws of the Republic of Türkiye apply to these terms. The Istanbul Anadolu Courts and Enforcement Offices have jurisdiction over any dispute. Your statutory consumer rights remain reserved.

10. Changes and contact

The Organizer may update these terms. The current text is always published on this page, and its last update date is shown at the top. If you keep using the App after a change, you are considered to have accepted the updated terms.
